There is a marvelous work and a wonder about to come forth among the people of Kurdistan. This is a picture of Jon, Chris and I with Elder and Sister Carlson of The Second Quorum of the Seventies, Sharon Eubank who is over the Humanitarian relations for The Church, Kajal Ruhmani from Harvard and Allen Morrell. We have been anticipating this visit from The Church for about a week and a half now and it has been great to welcome them here. Brother Carlson is here to meet with heads of government to get The Church recognized in Iraqi, Kurdistan and Sharon Eubank is here to help with humanitarian efforts at the Syrian refugee camps. We all went out to dinner and had a nice visit. Jon is making arrangements for them to meet with the UB brothers tomorrow and the IBBC. Wednesday we are headed up to Dohuk to tour the refugee camp and meet with other officials and then we hope to visit the Tiari and Homi families. Who would have guessed that The Church would come to Kurdistan, Iraq. The Gospel is true and it rolls forward every day.
