After our dinner with the Tiari family we went back to our hotel and were met by a man named Mr. Sadar, who is the leader of the Duhoki tribe. He invited us to sit with him for drinks and dinner so we could visit. We all went out to the poolside and Mr. Sadar talked to us about Kurdistan and his vision for the Kurdish people. He is trying to create an institute of leadership in Duhok so that Kurdish people can go there and learn leadership skills and professional English. Mr. Sadar wanted the LDS church to help him with English language teachers. Mr. Sadar is a very influential man in his tribe and in the Duhok area he was very interested in the Church and gratefully received a Bible and a Book of Mormon in Arabic. It was such an interesting evening.
